in an old allotment, on a long-forgotten plot,
we want to create our own place, our own world where we can retreat

the plot is long but not too narrow and well oriented
the house will be built as deep as possible
so the site can be divided into different zones, each with its own atmosphere and function

he studio will be in front of the house,
trees on the street will provide a clear boundary
under the trees you enter an open zone
and you see a low building
we walk on a meandering path
behind the low building we see the house
between the studio and the house there is a yard
in the middle there is a big tree

this is reminding of a farm archetype
but the materials and the arrangement of facade openings distance us
we see the front door, a bay window and another door
past the house we can reach the garden behind it
the house mediates with the surrounding outdoor spaces through overhanging roofs
the gardens are bordered to one side so that there is a certain seclusion
at the end of the garden is another area with trees containing the sauna
a final area offers a side view of the landscape
