The pavilion is conceived as an analogue antithesis to the ubiquitous high-tech and virtual media of the international exhibitions.
It is a mechanical fair ground, a party with three merry-go-rounds, round pavilions for restaurant, VIP lounge and shop.
The choice of simple graphics, mirrors and lights enhances the sensation of the merry-go-round and the festive atmosphere of the fairground.
The pavilion runs on a soundtrack composed by Peter Vermeersch with music by Flat Earth Society. The music plays on the edge between folkmusic and jazz.
The whole experience allows visitors of any age and background to enjoy an engaging, intense “Belgian” moment.
